Tying the Knot does not have to cost a fortune!
Leading Wedding Planning Company answers Munster's bridal credit crunch

Mallow, August 19th 2008: Tie The Knot, one of Cork's leading wedding planning companies, announced today the launch of its new cost effective wedding planning service. Focusing on saving bridal couples time and money, in a time when economists are warning against a recession, this wedding service package aims to reduce the cost of the overall wedding with guidance and simple tips. In addition, it has led to the company expanding its employee numbers to meet the increase in customers.

While some people see a consultant as a luxurious expense the Tie The Knot team see it as an investment in saving towards the bottom line. Helping couples save time during the research stage can be seen as investment in having time together, and having a wedding consultant there for the big day an investment in the peace of mind knowing that things will run well. The team sees the bigger picture as a financial saving - people will need more guidance now than ever, finding the right wedding professionals and negotiating contracts to "trim out the fat" are part of what Tie The Knot can offer families.

Speaking on the launch of the new cost effective wedding planning service Laura Curtin, Managing Director Tie The Knot commented "With all the talk these days about the "R" word and what is happening to the economy and our spending habits - talk for many also turns to the cost of weddings. While many couples are seeing themselves approaching credit unions and families to contribute to today's weddings due to rising costs, we at Tie The Knot believe hiring a professional wedding consultant is more important now than ever. Couples struggling to make their euro go farther for the wedding need a professional's experience to help direct the planning."

Many people are still stretching to do big weddings for appearance sake - family, friends and business acquaintances all expect an invite. It is very much a case of "keeping up with the Jones'". Unfortunately it can dampen some of those relationships if the bridal couple find the need to cut them off the guest lists all together. Working with an experienced consultant can help finesse some of the details to make the wedding look luxurious while actually trimming some of the expense. Other areas an experienced consultant can assist with are advice on trimming that "ever expanding" guest list, ways to find focal points that will still "wow" guests and not break the bank, and getting the biggest bang for your euro when wining and dining your guests.

As part of the launch Tie The Knot is offering couples a free brainstorming session with one of the team's wedding coordinators. To qualify for this promotion simply email laura@tietheknotwedding.ie between August 20th and September 17th 2008. Tie The Knot Wedding Planners provide full service wedding consulting, design and coordination.
